Skovdyrkerne

Skovdyrkerne (Danish Forestry Association) is a member-owned company working with forest, nature and landscape with round 4300 members. Roughly, the members own 20% of the Danish forests. 

The company is managed from five local associations with approx. 100 employees and cover the whole of Denmark. We are an association for everyone, who needs help regarding forestry. 

The core service of Skovdyrkerne is Consultancy with a startingpoint always on the individuel owner's wishes and needs. The specific counseling of the members often leads to projects that Skovdyrkerne carry out with the help of subcontractors or by the Skovdyrkerne selling the forest's products. 

The annual turnover of the company is more than  500 million Danish Kroner. The turnover is created through consulting, trade in coniferous timber, hardwood logs, wood chips, Christmas trees, greenery, plants and work in forest and in the open country in general.  

All 5 associations participate in the LIFE ForFit project.
